Taekwondo is not all about the physical – it has much to do with mental discipline and character building as well. 🧠🧎♀️
Each month, kids are provided lessons about a particular concept or word and are encouraged to put it into practice as “homework”. Once they demonstrate understanding, they earn a stripe which is part of the cumulative skill set required to test for their next belt level. 🤓
Last month’s word was “cooperation”. Below is a photo of a student receiving her stripe for cooperating at home: she bathed and brushed her cats, helped with laundry, shared her favourite toys with her sister, got her homework done without being asked and included friends in games at school! 😻👫
Way to go! 👏👍
