February marks our 1st anniversary as a CTU (Christian Tae Kwon Do University) and what is an anniversary without a party? If testing 20 students for their next belts is your idea of a party, keep reading!
Both classes tested on February 11th for their promotions and they found that the tests are getting harder, more demanding but more rewarding as they showed their learned skills to friends and family alike. Some students showed nerves that were a little jagged, but with perseverance, kept pushing until the final ” kyoung yet”. That is what I like about testing: putting aside your fears and then, conquering them on the floor.
We have been blessed with this school by having students that are willing to push themselves further with each class, with each test. We have been blesed with a school were the tenents are more than just words that hang on a banner in our do-jang, some something real, something tangible. We have been blessed by having a God that loves us and has made us heirs, sons and daughters.
